On August 11th, Tim gave Boston a wonderful baby blessing.

He was really tired and wasn't feeling the picture taking experience... that aside, doesn't he look dapper?
After church, we had everyone over for a luncheon. Since the blessing was so close to Madee's birthday, we just combined the blessing luncheon with her birthday party. It worked out quite nicely.

My friend, Jen, made some adorable cupcakes with coconut frosting.
They were seriously delicious.
I love that she used the "no hands" approach just like last year.
If your kids have ever watched Bo on the Go, you know how awesome this gift is. Madee loves it!

Madee is a really big fan of fairies.
Some day, when my kids are grown, I kind of hope the memories of their childhood look something like this...
It was a really special day and we're grateful for all of our friends and family that were able to come spend it with us.
