My Jaxen loves pizza.
So it seemed fitting, that for his birthday, we would have a pizza party.
We had a difficult time narrowing down his guest list. Jaxen is a popular guy.
So...we invited all of the kids from his preschool class and a few other neighborhood kids.
It was a full house.
As kids arrived we gave them a chef hat to decorate and an apron.
Once all the kids had aprons and hats, we gave them what every good chef needs...
a MUSTACHE!

(Bottom): Tyler, Boston, Evelyn, Jaxen, Oliver, Mikey, Madee
Geez... sorry about ALL the mustache pictures. But they are so cute. There's something about little kids with mustaches that I find to be pretty fantastic.
Photo bomber. Hilarious.
She wasn't pleased about her being removed from the picture... she cracks me up.
I was busy too busy helping kids make their pizzas to take any pictures of the process, but we just made pizzas out of pita bread. It was super easy and they turned out really yummy.
We also made dessert pizzas.
Jaxen didn't want any fruit on his pizza.
Kati came and helped out during the party. She ended up taking care of Madee the whole time (who had missed her nap and was therefore overly emotional).
Tyler and his friend, Spencer, were our "helpers".
It isn't a birthday party until kids hit each other with balloons.
Then Jax opened his gifts. He got so many fun things!
Jaxen and Evelyn. If you ask Jaxen who he is going to marry, his answer will always be Evelyn.
See?
Jax had a really fun birthday and I am glad we were able to celebrate it with so many of his friends!
