St. Patricks Day Weekend

 photo IMG_4105.jpg
Over St. Patrick's day weekend, it was Tyler's turn to take home his class bear, Corduroy.
He has been looking forward to this all year, and he was so excited.

Corduroy had to do everything with us....

That Friday night, Tyler had a really wiggly tooth.
He was worried he would swallow it, so we pulled it out after brushing his teeth.

He has officially entered the awkward teeth stage of childhood. Huzzah!

Of course, he had to get some pictures of his lost tooth and Corduroy.

We had to make a couple of pages to go the "Corduroy Book" So Ty wanted a thousand pictures taken. I was happy to oblige.

Jaxen (and Beavery) didn't want to be left out.

He was so excited to have Corduroy there when the Tooth Fairy came.
He decided that since Corduroy doesn't have eyelids, he could watch for the Tooth Fairy while he slept.

Since this year, St. Patrick's day was on a Sunday, I found these fantastic green bow ties for Ty and Jax.

After church, we went over to my parent's house for a green dinner.

No green meal would be complete without green cookies (made by Kati, of course).
They had white chocolate inside....

At Jaxen's preschool class that week, a leperchaun came and caused some trouble and left some treats.
Ever since then, Jaxen has been pretending to be a leperchaun.
He moves things around the house, and puts things where they don't belong.
He also leaves little notes everywhere (He even glued one to the front door). They usually have some scribbled letters and a hand drawn picture of a pot of gold.
He cracks me up!
