Boy, n: A noise with dirt on it.

I left Tyler playing with his buckets and shovels in our front yard.
When I came back to check on him a few minutes later, he had moved on to bigger and better things....
Like the giant mud puddle (we lovingly call our lake) that appears beside our house after it rains.
Since he was already filthy, I decided to just let him play in it... for 2 hours.

The girls behind him were having a "no boys allowed" party.
They ran in the sprinklers, played with water balloons, and painted their nails....
while Tyler played shirtless in a giant mud puddle next door.

I'm just glad he took off his shoes.
Even if we did have to throw away his socks.

We still need to come see your new beautiful house! And lake! Maybe we'll bring our swimsuits?

WOW! Looks like fun! When we lived in Herriman we had a similar pond in the corner of our yard. When we landscaped it wasn't done to where it would drain properly and the grass was molding and stunk really bad, pretty soon we had some geese living in it and pooping all over our entire yard. So my advice to you, when you get it landscaped make sure who ever does it makes it drain correctly so you don't end up with a molding goose infested back yard like we did.

It looks like a good time! He'll miss his puddle of mud when you landscape and put grass in.
