Easter 2013

We had a pretty typical Easter.

We had an (awesome) Easter egg hunt with our ward the Saturday before.

We got new church clothes.

Had cinnamon rolls for breakfast.

Got dressed up and went to church...
(my kids have sure grown a lot since last year)

That's how funny they think their Dad is.

The Easter Bunny came to our house while we were at church...

I stayed behind to make sure he got in okay.

Madee had no interest in having her picture taken.

Unless her Dad was with her. She's become quite the Daddy's girl.

We explored the treasures the bunny left behind.

This year he brought a lot of books.

Good thing my kids like books.

Madee had her first experience with peeps.

She was a big fan. 

After a quick nap for the Madelinn, we made our way over to my parent's house for a delicious ham dinner.

Jessi made resurrection rolls with the kids again.

And then it was my kids favorite part.... the Easter Egg Hunt!

My parents are gross.... I'm hope the husband and I are still gross when we've been married 33 years.

Madee discovered that the ramp we use for my grandpa's wheelchair was a fantastic toy.

Maybe we should get her a ramp for her birthday.

We thought Madee was trying to share her candy with my grandpa, but really she just wanted him to open it up for her.

The kids had a lot of fun playing with the empty Easter eggs afterwards.

Tyler and Jaxen thought it was especially funny to fill them with dirt and then give them to the adults.

Also.. I love how Madee's cute hair deteriorated into something weird as the day went on.

I dig him the most.

These two pictures make me laugh.

I love my little family. 

(I can still call it little, right?)

Easter Festivities

The Easter Bunny came. 

He went pretty simple this year, but I don't think anybody noticed.

This is Tyler's sneaky walk. 

It's even better in person.

We had just moved in the day before and the table and chairs were still somewhere in the garage...

but I did find these two booster seats with trays. I think Ty especially looks awesome with his long legs sticking out on the floor.

I had to get some pictures of my handsome gentlemen after church.

I'm a lucky gal.

Then we changed clothes and went to my parents house for dinner and the Annual Easter Egg Hunt.

I think it's cute the way my parents work together to get dinner on.

My grandparents are cooler than yours.

At least I don't think so.

Tyler meant business when it came to the Easter Egg hunt. He had been telling me for days that he was going to get the most eggs because he is really fast. 

He was right.

Yes, Tyler is wearing a bumble bee shirt.

This picture reminds me of this picture from last year.

(My Mom told me later there was $30 distributed throughout the all of the eggs.)
