After saying goodbye to Daniel that morning, we all came home and took a nap. It was glorious.
That evening, we went next door for a barbecue and pioneer day festivities.
We are really blessed to be surrounded by so many great neighbors.
When they rented the giant water slide, I think they intended it for the kids... but I think the adults (particularly the men) used it more than the kids.
Jax only went down one time. That was enough for him.
Madee loved it..... well maybe not.
After the food was consumed, and it was too cold to play in the water, we roasted marshmallows and did some fireworks.
These two are the cutest little friends.
